PA INDIAN LAKE — Indian Lake Borough Council voted 6-2 to advertise a resolution imposing a moratorium on new wake boat registrations and restricting wake surfing to designated areas. The resolution includes a 15-foot water-depth minimum and additional distance buffers, with a May-through-October 2026 moratorium period; Pam Tadken and Veil James dissented, citing lack of scientific justification and community survey results favoring enforcement over new restrictions. The Council unanimously approved two environmental studies: Water Environment Consultants for $25,400 and Aquatic Environment Consultants for up to $75,000.

Separately, Council unanimously approved $96,825 in treatment plant upgrades and a $10,800 window replacement contract for the Peninsula Club golf course facility.
